Trained volunteers are an integral part of
the Hospice of the Fisher Home’s team,
both at our hospice residence and in
patients’ homes. Volunteer roles include providing support to patients and family members, support our veteran patients, and meal prep for our nine-bed residence.
Volunteers at the Hospice of the Fisher Home represent a wide range of ages, ethnicity, backgrounds, and cultural interests. All must agree to a one-year commitment of two hours a week.

The Fisher Home volunteer program is actively seeking veterans to provide companionship to our veteran patients, recognizing their unique needs and the special camaraderie that may offer enrichment and comfort at the end of life.
